Pyteomics

I have no idea how long this project has been going on, but I just stumbled on it (currently studying the Python programming language because I just realized my beloved Fortran is a bit obsolete...)
Pyteomics is essentially a set of programming tools for the python language that are specifically geared toward shotgun proteomic analysis.  The tools are hosted by the Dr. Gorshow's lab at the  Moscow Institute of Technology.  If you are working on writing some custom proteomics software, these look like they will save you a staggering amount of time!
